Breakfast triumph this morning! I had made a butternut squash soup at the cabin and froze the extra. I thawed it for lunch earlier this week and STILL had more to eat. So, this morning I heated it up (in the microwave - which i normally don't do) and added an over easy egg. I had a very little bit of blue cheese from a cheese plate left and I also had some dried chive flowers.. I scattered them both on top with some black pepper... SO GOOD. The soup was a broth based soup and so it wasnt too heavy. The creamy egg yolk and blue cheese took it to another rich level.
